Default Edition of dresses from the Mall (gimp)

I'll try to show you how to edit dress from mall. it's a faster and easier way to do CYO if you are a beginner designer - or you just have little time.
I chose simple dress to download from here https://www.divachix.com/index.php?i...ose=carol&dl=1
and body Ashley by luv_lani

1.Open the body and dress on the second layer in gimpie. If you reduce the transparency of the layer with the dress, you will see that they do not match.

2. You move the layer with the dress for the best fit. It depends on you and your skills what method you like.
a. you can manually draw
b. you can use the tool cage transform
c. you can use deformation filter
d. cut and paste the missing element
I usually draw

In fact, it may already be a ready dress. But I like a clearer look and a "personal touch".
So what can you do?

3. Draw a line according to which you want to change the shape of the dress.

4.Draw a light that more closely matches the body of the doll. Use the smudge tool to blur them.

5. I added a fragment on the back of the dress to make it look more natural. Now you tint the contour lines a little darker than the dress.

6.I like contrasts, so I selected the silver element, and used the sharpening filter

7. It seems to me that the dress still looks "flat", so I used the texture of the fabric - I added a pattern on a separate layer

8.I combined the dress layer with the texture layer, increased its saturation a bit

9. I copied the silver element and moved the duplicate using rotate tools, and adjusted the color of the outline, a little light on the bust

10. It looks easy, right?
