  • How to vote on events

Voting is the easiest way to gain moolah, coins, golden tickets, loyalty points, and perception, which are all items that you can 'keep'.

Voting can also help you with the Vote ladder, voting jobs, and guild voting tasks (if you are in a guild and your guild is in a voting task). But those all turn over or have expirations so you will want to keep an eye on the time while doing any of those.

    How do I vote?
You vote on Events, GOC (Guild Outfit Challenge), Doll Albums, or Special Competitions.

How do I Vote on Events?

To vote on Events, scroll your mouse over the Activity tab and select 'Vote on Events'.

You will be directed to a page where you will be able to vote on a random mixture of Battles, HON (Hot or Not) Events, Red Carpet Events, and Outfit Feedback Events.

On this page, you will see one or 2 dolls, some buttons and a panel on the right with some information on it.

If you see the following, you have a Battle. (It could be a Battle or a Guild Battle. They will look the same. The only difference is that in a Guild Battle, both of the dolls will belong to Guild Members and they will count differently for Guild Tasks.) There are no vote buttons for battles, just click anywhere on the diva to vote for that diva.

    HON (Hot or Not):
If you see the following, that means you have a HON event (Hot or Not). Here, you need to vote Hot or Not, based on what you think of that certain diva. (If you like it, vote HOT, if you don't, then click NOT ):

    Red Carpet Event:
If you see the following, this means you have a Red Carpet Event, based on celebrity look-alike dolls. You need to vote Hit (if you think the doll really looks alike with the celebrity chosen or if you simply like her outfit) or Miss(if you don't). For more about Red Carpet Events, look HERE.

    Outfit Feedback Event:
You may also have an Outfit Feedback Event. They look like this:

You will click on the box(es) next to the phrase you think applies to that doll (a check will appear in the box) and click on the button that says "VOTE".
For more information about Outfit Feedback, click HERE.

What else you might see on the Vote page:

    Above the Events:

Error Message: If you see an error message after casting a vote, don't worry, it just means the event has finished and you have been redirected to a new one.

Golden Tickets: You may see the phrase "You have won a golden ticket!" as seen below.

These are random events and to learn more about golden tickets, click HERE.

Type of Event/Events Left: This line will tell you what type of event you are voting on (this helps when looking at a HON or Red Carpet Event as they appear similar) and how many events are currently being voted on. All event are an hour long, but as they start at different times this number will change, but it can give you an idea as to how much longer you can vote before you run out of events.

Nominate a doll for Doll of the Day: Also above each doll will be a button that says 'Nominate Doll Of the Day'. Click on this to nominate that diva as Doll of the Day. You can nominate as many dolls as you wish. In a battle, after you click on this button, the dolls may switch sides. So wait for the battle to load again before voting.

For more about Doll of the Day, please click HERE.

Panel to the right of the Events:
After you vote, the panel on the right will show you how many votes you have made in the current vote tier period, and how much you received for that vote. The green symbol represents moolah and the yellow symbol represents coins. The chances of what you will receive is dependent on what voting tier you are in at that point in time. To learn more about Voting Tiers, click HERE.

Below that is the Pop Out. The Pop Out is a new window or tab that contains just the voting area - without the top and left Diva Chix panels. If you are voting on a mobile device, you may want to Pop Out. All you have to do is click on the words "Pop Out".

Below that is a button to buy a Bingo Ticket.

To learn more about DC Bingo, click HERE.

    Below the Dolls:
If you have the Outfit Info upgrade, you will see buttons under the dolls that say "Outfit Info".

For more information about Outfit Info, click HERE.

    Guild Survivor:
Guild Survivor is a competition where the competitors compete in as many Guild Battles as possible. (Usually one person from each guild entered.) During Guild Survivor, there will be many more Battles than normal. During Survivor there is the opportunity to vote without running out of events.

Some people do not like seeing the same Survivor dolls over and over again. Or prefer to try to vote on regular events first. If you want to see only regular events during Guild Survivor, there is a Game Setting to disable or enable voting on Survivor Battles. When you run out of regular events during Survivor, you can go back to the Game Settings to enable Survivor voting and then be able to vote on the Survivor events.
The Game Settings page is HERE.
For more information about Game Settings, click HERE.

    Holiday Voting:
During holidays like Christmas, Easter and Halloween Diva Chix may run a voting game. The games will generally involve random events while you are voting. This message is one that came up during an Easter voting game:

Your account would be credited 20,000 Moolah in this case.

This is another random message received during that same voting game. The goal was to receive all the letters in the words "Happy Easter".

You can keep track of how many items you have found in your wardrobe. Once you complete the goal make sure to click "I found all the ___".

If you receive a message while voting that looks like a game is running, you can check the forums for an announcement thread. (There may be a section under Contests.) That thread will detail your goal and how much the prize will be worth. (During Christmas the goal is to collect all of the items from the song the 12 days of Christmas (you will find one item at a time but you must collect all of them, so 5 golden rings, 9 Ladies Dancing, etc.). Each holiday is usually a little different from the other.

How do I vote on GOC (Guild Outfit Challenge)?
You can vote on GOC every day, every day is a new theme and new entries. Each vote counts the same as a vote for any event.
For more information about GOC, click HERE.

How do I vote on a Doll Album?
You can also vote by rating entries in another member's Doll Album. Each vote counts the same as a vote for any event.

For more information on how to rate a Doll Album, including how to find Doll Albums, click HERE.

    Special Competitions:
There are some competitions that can provide more voting opportunities. Keep an eye open for announcements at the bottom of the page under Latest Competitions, in the forums, and in member services that one of these events may be happening.

These competitions will typically have their own page on the site that explains the competition and there will be access to the voting from that page. These pages will be accessible from either the Activities or Guild menus depending on whether it is a guild competition or not.

Some examples of this type of competition are 'Who Wore it Better' (WWIB) and Guild War. WWIB is found in the Activities menu and Guild War is found in the Guilds menu.

Some of these events, like Guild War, might have 3 dolls. If you run across an Event or Competition with 3 dolls instead of 2, just choose your favorite of the three.

    Good Luck!:)
