you know the icon that says if your online or offline? what if we had two of these icons, to determine wether we are on the mainsite or the forums. If we were on the mainsite, the icon on the left would be lit up. if we were on the forums, the icon on the right would be lit up. if we had tabs open, and were on both, then both the icons would be lit up, but one would be darker than the other, depending on wich one is being used and which one is idle. The idle one would be lighter. also, the two different icons would look different, maybe the mainsite icon would be an outline of a small doll, and the forum icon would be a little piece of paper? It would also be cool if we could use invisible mode on the mainsite. Also, different "last activity" data would be shown on the forums than the main site. if someone was on the mainsite last in january, but were on the forums last in march, the profiles would tell you that. the mainsite profile would say "last activity in january" and the forum profile would say "last activity in march"

I don't how much communication exists between the main site and the forums. And I do not know if this is functionality that the forum plug-in would have. So I don't know if this would be possible.


There is a suggestion to have invisible mode on the main site http://www.divachix.com/forums/showthread.php?t=89584, please comment over there for that piece.

How many people want to view other people's status on the main site while they are on the forums and vice versa (without clicking on the View User Profile on a post)? Would this have to be on the posts or could it be on the profle?

Or do you have both the main site and the forums open at the same time?

Um, what would be the real point?
If you wanted to know if they were on the mainsite then look, there a shortcut right under the UN.

Not just that, but who cares? Its not a huge benefit for anyone.

Very true..Most people who use the forums dont use the mainsite. and I'd prefer if we kept them separate really. If people want to know if someone is online, they can check.

No I don't really see the point either.
If you want to see who is on the forum then just open up the forum, scroll down to the bottom of the page and look at the list of users who are online.
