I personally like to keep some of my alerts, like shop sales and such.
Can we have an option to turn on/off automatic deletion, or lock certain messages so they can't be deleted?

There is a suggestion to have a save folder for alerts, different idea but same result, http://www.divachix.com/forums/showthread.php?t=84244. Maybe if you comment over there, too.

Not sure which idea I like better. hmm.
