This is my first divachix prom, but I
have been to prom three times, first for my
now fiance's Junior prom when I was a
Sophomore, then to my Junior Prom/his Senior
Prom (same night, same time) and then my
Senior prom. So I have a few tips, that may be
helpful - I'm sure DivaChix proms are alot
different, nto as much drama as rl proms but it
never helps to be prepared right? Lol.


We're all rushing to get last minute items for
prom. I am excited and getting to know my
date country_cutie/Tina. We have color
coordinated to our best lol.

So what happens if another diva is wearing
your prom dress/prom hair/etc? You should
have atleast one backup outfit saved, and
coordinated with your date. This way, some
other diva shows up as your twin, and you
take 5 seconds to change.

Even in real life, for Prom you should always
have an extra dress, or shop around for it don't
buy your dress at the first place you stop
because usually that's wear most of your
classmates will go. There are many prom rental
boutiques, that also sell dresses from previous
seasons very discounted, I got mine for $45,
ans no one else had it.

Or say your date can't attend because of a
family emergency, or some other rl issues.
Please don't have a backup date - that looks
bad haha, no but if you know people, your
friends you can go as a group especially if they
are going solo and I am sure they'd enjoy the
company. Make sure to talk to them early,
maybe even let them join you and your date
even if he does show up.

You are nominated Prom Court Royalty but your
date is not. o.o Awkward, but it happens - my
boyfriend at the time was Prom king at his
Senior Prom and I was there all alone. Typically
the MC says to dance with the Prom Queen.
I'd so make a beeline for your date, or ask a
friend to dance with him/her so they don't feel
left out.

Don't restrict yourself to only hanging out with
your date only. Make sure to mingle, and hang
out with your friends, make some new ones and
even lead a conga line-if its in ya lol.

Take lots of photos - yes on DivaChix you know
we use Printscreen, so make sure your editing
program is opens o you can save them as you
go. Later you can even make Prom Scrap
Book or soothing similar, so you have Prom
2013 forever.


If you have a real life prom to go to this month,
make sure to bring plenty of disposable
cameras or a digital camera so it's easy and
inexpensive to share your memories.
