A/N: We were learning about "Villanelle" style poetry in a creative writing class I took a few years ago. It's a pretty interesting format, and I was on a mythology kick at the time. This is the result.

Sapped through her eyes and all goes grey and cold
And leaves not but a paintless frame behind
Flesh-like stone where there's no life to behold

A mistake you made, you were so bold
Now a price is paid by fate...

Forgetting the world
as I lose myself.

Drowning in deep thought,
Suffocating slowly;
So hard to breathe.

Turning purple,
Losing color.

Fading away,
Blind and alone.

I'm lost,
No light at the end.

I disappear,
and leave no remain.

This is just a little poem I wrote a few months ago. It has multiple meanings, take it however you like

Silly silly kitten, why so fluffed the fur?
Why the hissing and the spitting?
I miss the times you purred

You really look ridiculous when you try to be upset
Over tiny things like bugs and strings
You aren't even going to the vet

You growl and swat your little paws at any passersby
Not daring to turn...

Fear of Flying

I might want to escape,
But I won't say a word,
I'm screaming in my head,
Still remaining so unheard,
Ask me if I'm okay,
I'll tell you one more lie,
You'd think me crazy if I told you,
That I'm expecting to die.
We're rising up and off we go,
It's not vertigo,
You won't understand,
Because you don't know,
I'm scared of nothing,
But it seems like something,
Holding onto my seat,
