So in one of my two main works-in-progress I've come to a stumbling block: whether or not I should introduce a new character.

Cons: I have plenty of characters already, and at the moment, this character is not necessary for anything. He would really just replace an existing character for some exposition, and I fear it might come across as forced.

Pros: As useless as this character would be now, there is great potential for him to be used as a major plot point later...

1. We have a dorm room now. It's on my least-favorite floor, but it's better than nothing, and we won't have to go up and down stairs as often either XD

2. Just discovered iTunes FINALLY put the Odin Sphere soundtrack up for sale, after, what, five years? Anyway, I'm happily listening to my fav songs from it now XD

3. Working on a...relatively huge story project. Writing a lot more character bios than I'm used to, as well as lots of universal rules for it. Really...

I discovered a new song yesterday that I absolutely fell in LOVE with!! The melody, the lyrics, the message and emotion behind it, it's just all so beautiful.

Generally when I hear a good song like this, it causes me to want to come up with a story to go along with it.

Unfortunately, the story I want to tell isn't really one I can do with words this time around. It'd be more of a...comic I guess. The message would be in the visuals, with the lyrics themselves giving direction...

So I have this character named Bracket. Don't ask me why she's named that, because I don't know. And yes, this is the same Bracket I wrote in a drabble a little while ago (assuming anyone read that XD)

Bracket is an unfortunate character in that, for as much as I love her, I haven't the slightest clue as to what I want to do with her.

But a) I'm worried no one would read them and b) those that people here would read are the ones I have the most trouble writing, meaning there would probably be long periods of time between updates, if I updated at all

I guess I just don't feel like I post as much on this site as I could/would like to.

But the folks on here probably wouldn't read my science fiction and I tend to get stuck while writing relationship stories. My characters in those stories are just...
