Months and months of hard work pays off!
Today our band went to district festival and did our three pieces (Two fast, one slow.) and we got all ones! (The best rating). Then went to site reading and rocked it, getting another one!
All of those, "take it back and run it again" Really did pay off!
We qualified for state! <3 And since we area third band (The lowest level) comprised of freshmen (mostly) it is a true achievement.

OH. And I'mma be DC bound...

Erm, so yea. I haven't exactly posted in my blog for a while, but I'm determined to finish this day challenge thing if it takes the rest of my life.

Day 19: Something You Miss

I miss nap time. In kindergarten, we took our beach towels to school (mine had Disney princesses on it. Everyone was jealous) and we had a designated nap time. I hated it then. I thought it was pointless. Oh, how I was wrong.

Now I'm lucky to get four hours of sleep...
