I'm participating in a regional German speaking contest this weekend. There is only one other person from my school doing it, this girl Molly. The German teacher let us practice in the library in study hall today. Basically, Molly's mom is a German 1 teacher at the high school in our district, and so she helped Molly a ton with how to say things. So Molly has a bunch of impressive phases, pronunciations, knowledge of the language (that's all correct/proper) that I lack, and so she is going to completely beat me at the competition. It's not fair though, because her mom is a German teacher :/
