Sum up my Leadership Day
Tags camp, leadership, saturday, sigma
The last day of leadership was so amazing. The conversations we had were so inspiring and meaningful. The activities were good ways to practice our leadership skills. Not only did we have to communicate, but we had to communicate effectively.
The first thing that we did was talking about what Sigma is and what it means. Sigma is an organization that can be broke down into three categories: Tutoring, Mentoring, and Leadership. There is something for there for everyone. Sigma is the backbone to the school. CJ gave some interesting analogy. Sigma is a puppet show. the people in school are the audience, and we, the Sigma members, are the puppeteers. We control the things behind the stage, rarely ever getting recognition for all our hard work.
First activity we did
So there were more discussions...
Ms. Cali had us line against the wall in shortest to tallest.
I'm shorter than I thought. Cody kept pulling me further down the line..."No. Shes taller. No he's taller....no shes taller." I'm short! D: Anyways, then Cali had us organize ourselves by ages. I'm two months apart from Kaleb, the boy I used to like(kind of still do, but I am trying to get over him), and Kimmie(we all thought she was younger than Kaleb) is actually older than him. This was how she[Cali] constructed new groups. I was grouped with Kaleb, Cody, Kimmie, and Jennifer. It was quite good actually. I knew them all, and we came up with intellectual answers in our discussions.
Hmm. Then sadly, 4pm came along and we had to wrap it up.
If I could have stayed longer, or if the event was longer I mean, I so would have stayed. I enjoyed it and I plan to attend more things like this.
I feel like I actually belong. Know what I mean?

First activity we did
Made a pyramid out of plastic cups without using our feet or hands.
Second activity:
We put a cup full of water in the middle of this circle, and had another cup six inches away from it. we had to take the water filled cup out of the circle without putting our hands nor any body part in the circle, and fill the empty cup with the water.
The group I was in at first, finished before the others.
Before talking about the mission, vision, and Creed, we took a break for lunch. Lunch was quite interesting. Some girl brought pie and zoo pal plates. I got left over pie! YAY! Then I just watched a lot of them play and jump on tables. Second activity:
